The Giant Panda is one of the world's rarest animals, with about 1,590 living in the wild in China, mostly in Sichuan and the western province of Shaanxi.
Why do they have such a low fertility rate??
The answer is.. They are SO sexually inactive!!
Female pandas become pregnant only once a year and deliver two cubs at most each time.
The fertility of captive giant pandas is even lower because they eat more but move less~
Let's see why they r so Inactive ..
Tis can be prove by the way they send a giant panda across the country~
Now u know why Giant Panda is on the edge of extinction... ^^
